Arrangements for Parents Visits

Parents and carers are encouraged to visit the school.  Just telephone the school during office hours to make an appointment.

Admissions Policy

Our school caters for children with severe and profound learning difficulties.  Every pupil has an Education, Health and Care Plan.  In the case of the very young children, they may be undergoing the process of assessment prior to being provided with an Education, Health and Care Plan.

Hampshire Local Authority is responsible for the maintenance of Education Health and Care Plans for all the children.  As part of the assessment process, parents will be provided with a list of appropriate schools in the area from which to choose.  You are welcome to visit us to help decide if we are the right school for your child.  However, the Local Authority makes the final decision about which school would best meet your child’s needs.

Further information can be obtained from the school or directly from Hampshire County Council.

Prior to admission, as part of the partnership and induction process, parents are encouraged to visit school with their child.  All parents will be asked to complete an ‘admissions  pack’ prior to their child starting school, to ensure the school has all the necessary information to make sure their child is safe and happy.
