We aim to provide the students with a relevant curriculum that is interesting, meaningful to their lives and most importantly fun!
The students learn best from the multi-sensory approaches we use and we aim for every student to achieve their individual best.
Our activities focus on looking, listening, touching, smelling and tasting!
Communication is another vital life-long skill learned whilst in the Sensory Education class. We are proud of all our students who learn to communicate so successfully through body language, gestures, facial expressions, vocalisations and using switches and movement and sound beams.
Sensory Education has welcomed two new students this term. Ellie has transferred from Class One and Olly has come from the Adventure Play School. They have both settled in very well and are enjoying making new friends.
